Service Alert: GUTS Shuttles Rerouted Aug. 20-23
From Thursday, Aug. 20, through Sunday, Aug. 23, as a result of the Freedom 250 Grand Prix Race, only the following Georgetown University Transportation Shuttle (GUTS) routes will be available:
Due to road closures in and around downtown DC, the Dupont Circle, Capitol Campus, Gallery Place, Union Station and 55 H Street shuttle routes will not operate Thursday, Aug. 20, through Sunday, Aug. 23. To help alleviate the expected increased demand for the Rosslyn and Arlington routes, the shuttles will run at increased frequency. Additionally, community members can take advantage of our temporary shuttle to and from the Tenleytown-AU Metro Station; shuttles will run from this stop every twenty minutes (Georgetown signage will be displayed at the stop).

Georgetown community members can also view GUTS shuttle real-time location information on the web, or through the BusWhere for Shuttles app, using access code “GEORGETOWN” upon download (available via the Apple Store or Google Play Store).
Finally, we encourage community members to sign up for notifications from AlertDC to be informed about additional traffic advisories as they become available.
