E-Scooters and Dockless E-Bikes

Shared electric scooters (e-scooters) and dockless electric bikes (e-bikes) can be rented from companies operating throughout the District. When riding, remember to wear a helmet, follow all traffic laws, and ride in bike lanes where possible.

Parking

In compliance with DC law, remember to lock your e-scooter at the end of your trip to any of the following:

Bike racks
In-street bicycle and scooter corrals
Parking signposts
Stop signs

Please report any improperly parked e-scooters or e-bikes, such as those blocking sidewalks and building entrances, directly to the companies operating them. Each company’s contact information can be found on the District Department of Transportation’s website.
