Disability Access

Georgetown has a number of accessibility options for visitors traveling to and from campus. 

GUTS Buses

Georgetown University Transportation Shuttles (GUTS) buses are ADA accessible and equipped with wheelchair lifts. Contracted buses may not be accessible. Please contact the Office of Transportation Management to ensure any accessibility requirements are met.

Disability Parking

Faculty and Staff

Faculty and staff with a valid annual decal and state-issued disability permit who require special handicapped parking spaces may request assignment to a specific parking space by visiting the OTM office. To request any other accommodation, please contact the Office of Institutional Equity, Diversity and Affirmative Action.

Students

Students with disabilities who require parking can contact the Academic Resource Center to make arrangements for disability parking.

Visitors

Visitors with valid handicap permits may park in designated parking spaces in the Southwest Garage after paying the posted parking rate.
