Changes to GUTS for Commencement 2017

Dear Members of the Georgetown University Community,

In order to safely welcome the friends and family of our graduating students and effectively support commencement activities, we must temporarily relocate the main campus GUTS bus stops and alter their routes. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 18 through the duration of  Friday, May 19, all GUTS bus stops will be relocated to north campus. There will be no GUTS service on Saturday, May 20 as this weekend begins the GUTS summer schedule, when there is no service on Saturdays.

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 18 and lasting through Friday, May 19:

  • The Rosslyn, Arlington and Dupont GUTS stops will be located in front of Kober Cogan.
  • The Wisconsin Avenue and Law Center GUTS stops will be located in front of Epicurean.
  • The Mini Shuttle will not run during this time period.

To see a map of the temporary on-campus GUTS bus stops please see below.

Commencement 2017 GUTS changes

GUTS riders should allow extra time to accommodate this change. Friday, May 19 is National Bike to Work Day, and we invite members of our community to use alternative commuting options during this period, such as walking, bicycling, public transit, and ridesharing. More information about your alternative commuting options to Georgetown can be found at transportation.georgetown.edu.

Thank you for your support during the commencement activities and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sincerely,

Robin A. Morey
Vice President, Planning and Facilities Management
